There are times I find myself encased in a self-deprecating mental cocoon, and times I feel aligned with Who I Am. That's when the magic comes out…
when I'm dancing,
when I'm creating,
when I feel the emotions and thoughts of others deeply,
when a movie, a book, or a song takes me deeper into (or away from) myself,
when I've done away with seeking approval of others,
and when I've let go and have forgiven everyone who's challenged or confronted my sense of self and all I'm left with is the experience of Beingness that comes from living in the Present Moment.  

I think all of us can identify with those moments to some degree. I strive to allow experiences like those to happen more often, but it does take practice.  

I have some psychic pimples I need to pop so that my path and vision can become clearer. My goal this year is to find my mission in life and that means serious self-study and introspection. Ultimately, my goal is about being fully self-expressed and that means uprooting mental and emotional roadblocks that confront my alignment with Who I Am.  

This I know: within me is a Teacher, an Artist, a Leader, a Guide, a Healer, a Musician, and a Writer. Hell, I feel like I can go on…I feel like I've been all of those things in another reality, and they sprout naturally at times when I least expect them to.  

My “day” job is working in the catering industry, but at home it's another universe; time for my Self and the inner work that introspection entails.
